Frequently Asked Questions

Can the residents work on their projects when you aren't there?

Yes!

Are you worried about your safety?

No, I am not. I feel very comfortable and safe when I am there.

Where can I keep up with updates about the program?

Please visit the About page to subscribe to our YouTube channel where I will be going live occasionally to talk about how things are going and any changes in the program.

I have yarn to give - where can I send it?

Thank you for sending your yarn! Before shipping, please make sure it is free of pet hair and odors, in good condition (not coming unplied), fully untangled, and frogged from any WIPs (Works in Progress) so it’s wound into balls and ready to use. Like us, these residents like receiving yarn that is ready to use!

Are you a 501(c)(3)?

No, we are not. While donations are not tax‑deductible at this time, every contribution supports our work in bringing crochet, connection, and hope into the correctional setting.

At this time, we do not accept finished items. The focus is on providing residents with the opportunity to learn, create, and experience the sense of accomplishment that comes from making something themselves.
